Wordfilter aka censoring of words

Should or should we not have a wordfilter in place?

And if so, which words should be filtered?

I would like to know (active) members opinion on this, because we only have two words in the filter currently. f**k and p**s.1 And sometimes I wonder whether a word filter is really necessary, seeing as it can be easily bypassed. However I can understand why it's in place, because the ToS states:

There is an option in the profile settings to "leave words uncensored", which most of us... if not all of us because I don't know if it is on by default... probably have on. If you are worried about it, then you can build a word filter and probably find an option in the admin panel that will default it to off. That way, new members will have a word filter in place unless they choose to turn the option on.

I don't really mind for the sake of decency. But on the other hand we're probable all of a certain age and anyone who has read anything by GRR Martin (or plenty of other authors) will run into language far more foul than mine.

Considering the lack of words in the filter, and the easiness to bypass it, as well as the general consensus so far, I will delete the last two words from the filter. I can't reverse it as James suggested, it works the other way around (opt out, not opt in).

I'll add opt in to the code issues list.
