DEJAVU
« on: May 04, 2006, 09:57:58 AM »

This week has been completly and utterly surreal for me.

Had a dream about a friend i hadnt seen in a while, where i run into her at a basketball game. Two days later i see her under almost the exact circumstances as in the dream - At basketball.

Anyway, thats more of a premonition I guess. But i've been seing things instinctivly all week now, and my favourite saying has been "I've seen this before.  Maybe I've seen it all, but it seems more likely that I'm just crazy.

So, Has anyone else had moments of "Dejavu" recently?

I've seen the contents of half a bottle of Jack Daniels twice this week. The second time I saw it (about 4 hours after I drank it) wasn't so good.

You know it doesn't really count as Deja Vu if it happened the first time in a dream, since your reconstructive memory f**ks up what ectually happened in the dream. So you may think you are experiencing Deja Vu, but you just think you are.

I get the feeling of deja vu sometimes.. Most recently I was playing tactics ogre and as I attacked and the animation played out I was sure that I had done it before, exactly like it was with all the same characters in there places. But I'd never played the game before, and it was my first time playing that level.. and its not the first time I've felt that I've done something before when I know I haven't....

So in short, yes I have

I have actually dreamed about things before they have happened, though. That isn't De JaVu  though, is it... that's more like premonition?

Yes thats premonition, but the feeling is DeJaVu, as you've seen it/felt it before.

Oh Yes.  But they are for PM rather than the HoW.

Something tells me that those dreams may be coming true sooner than I thought.

What? You dreamed you were running through a forest with Class, Michael Praed, Nigel Harman and a fish seller from Seattle?
