Liberating Sunday
« on: October 24, 2010, 05:27:03 PM »

Another tirade of abuse against the establishment. It makes me hate, so much. And I don't want to hate. It's unnecessary, and tiring. But...

Can we please get Sunday's free of work? Surely all work can be done in a timely fashion, allowing us one day (ONE DAY) to spend with our loved ones. Instead of having a lovely, romantic picnic or some such, being all gay, I'm spending my Sunday's in front of the tv brooding. Not healthy, is it?

To make matters clear, my girlfriend has to work during the weekends. As a student, she doesn't really have too much time during the middle of the week to earn money. So, because of this, it puts a strain on everything. Takes time away from her resting, away from me (*sniffle*), the animals and all that good stuff.

I'm against religion, but surely we can pit one establishment against another. Religion has helped to remove work, in the past, and I don't see why it can't continue to. I'd pick a snooze in the church with my girl next to me over enforced labour.

In this sorry world, when our society is anti-sex and living, properly, surely we can do this for ourselves. Wouldn't it be wonderful? Can you see it with me? Ahh, Sunday. I know you bastards who're reading this in the comfort of your homes, with your SO close by, will be laughing this up.

Appreciative what you got.

But, oh well...guess I'll be spending more time online.

Sure, and all those doctors, bus-drivers, people at electrical powerplants etc. can just call it a day as well...

I feel that you can not force on to work on sunday, but you cannot force one to be free on a sunday as well

I would never, or even suggest, someone be coerced into doing something. That is the exact opposite of what I'm going for.

Can you have this "Sundays off" plan of yours implemented by this Sunday? I'm working and would appreciate the day off. Cheers.
