Going to see Mad Caddies and Voodoo Glow Skulls and Good Riddance and A Wilhelm Scream and The Flatliners and Jen Buxton and Jamie Hays and a bunch of other acts tomorrow. Should be fun.

Went to see the australian band Ball Park Music this weekend. Was pretty great. Decided i want to marry their bass player.

Seen golden earring and a bit of pinkpop in recent years. That was all. I like music and even in concert setup, but crowds irk me.

Haven't seen a whole lot of bands in recent years, but i'm going to try to pick that up...

Friday i hope to see Kraak & Smaak, the internationally renowned dutch DJ act. A few weeks after that i hope to see Gare Du Nord.

Coheed and Cambria and MSMR were in town a few nights ago for a free show, but I opted to skip it because the radio station putting the show on decided that they were going to rearrange the schedule and put the show on hold for more than three hours so that everyone could watch the Royals game. The team lost for thirty years in a row and as soon as they start winning everyone goes overboard. As much as I would love to see those bands, the thought of standing around bored for three hours while people cheered for the most boring sport I have ever seen (baseball) didn't appeal.

Went to see John Fogerty play his Creedence Clearwater Revival songs yesterday. it kicked ass. that man can still rock. a 2,5 hour stint of goosebumps
