automobile on a university campus = NOT WORTH IT!

I missed my bus today and had a quiz first class and needed to get to school, so I took the car. I was still late, 'cause it took about two minutes to feed the meter full of coins (that's the problem with only having low denomination coins: a quarter-dollar is the largest common coin, instead of the pound or 2 pound, or euro/2euro) for an hour and a half. Then I had to go find somewhere else to park it after my class, so I finally managed to find a place about 15 min walk from my next classroom (had an hour off). I go, and find that my class is cancelled (someone spilled the mercury or something, there was a firetruck, several police cars, and three guys in haz-mat suits). Well, okay. I eat lunch, go back to my car, have to move it agaaaiiin, then walk around town, then bus up to class, then walk for twenty minutes from class back to car.
So about an hour's worth of driving for NO ADDED BENEFIT.
*snarks*
*goes and fills her rescued bike's tires*

I really really want this book, but I know that I could never bring myself to pay that much for it. Not now anyway, perhaps if I were to win the lottery... or knock over a bank.

I'm happy -- and this is unusual.
Generally, at first snow every year, I get very, very sad. Today I was.. well, twirling and laughing in the falling flakes. I feel peaceful/joyful.
My hypotheses commonly circle around my access to black chai. Ohhhh yummy. :D

It was my sister's birthday yesterday, so I spent pretty much all my waking hours with them. Thankfully, I didn't have that much to drink, otherwise I'd now be saying - hungover and hungry, rawr. Instead I'm just hungry...might need to sort that out, soon.

I fancy a night out tonight, but I might just have a few drinks at home with the lads instead.

I am good, just finishing packing for my holiday. Off to the pub for dinner in an hour and after that going to see the stand up comedian Michael McIntyre which should be fun :)
Early start tomorrow as I am getting the coach up to Heathrow.

Quite happy. Received a belated birthday package from someone. :P And I'm enjoying a nice wild berry zinger hot drink, and considering playing some more of the Football Manager 2010 demo. Or I may write. Been in a writing kind of mood lately.

But of course, baz. Of course. Convince the good people that you don't love me...yup.

Anyway, I'm f**king restless. Aggghhh. Might go for a walk or go for a cold shower.

Beers tonight!!

Edit: Scratch that. I may have one or two, but I can't be going all out, 'cause I have a job interview early tomorrow. Bugger.
