I watched School for Scoundrels, which was an all right movie, it had a few hilarious moments, and quite a bit more than any of the other "comedies" I have rented recently. Not a big fan of Heder, Napolean Dynamite made sure of that, but I guess he was decent in this one, at least he wasn't playing a moron, like he has in every other movie I have seen him in.
Watched The Departed as well. It was a pretty damn decent flick, though a bit slow. The ending was a bit of a surprise, although it seemed as if it ended abruptly, mostly due to an unresolved plot point. If you have seen it then you know what I am talking about (if you don't, it concerns the envelope and the psychiatrist). Its one of the few movies I've seen recently that I wouldn't mind seeing again. It's about two and a half hours, so a bit longer than the average movie, but it shouldn't be much of a problem unless you have a short attention span.
