ok. i really had no idea where to post this little bit of info.. but this'll do.
i hate taxi drivers. especially those of the redlight-running-drunken variety. on tuesday night, whilst quietly enjoying a few drinkies in the valley, i was struck down by an evil (and probably drunken) taxi driver. i bled. it hurt. and did the bastardo stop to check if i was ok?? of course not!! he probably had a nice juicy fare to pick up, and wanted to beat all the other animals (err, cab drivers) to the punch. unfortunately for me, neither myself or my mate were able to grab the license plate, so i can't even take legal action. i may (and note, i say may) be able to claim damages from the taxi company itself, but unless they manage to find the driver responsible, it's unlikely.

so this is me feeling sorry for, well, me. i hurt. and i don't like it.

now shower me with sympathy.

*showers you with sympathy... and ovens*

Alright, minus the ovens  But seriously, that sounds incredibly frustrating. Bastard! I'm sorry you couldn't kick his ass.

Yes, a nice bit of explosive violence would feel so much better than pitiful monetary compensation...

I believe that although not an "issue" this is the right place to post this little snippet, as it's not worthy of a whole thread. The Aussies (and maybe some others) will know about a fantastic guy called Dick Smith, Aussie by name, nature, and soul... He is a world famous adventurer and explorer, he runs a successful chain of electronics stores, and campaigns against Australian made products being sold out to overseas corporations.

Most of you should know of the australian product VEGEMITE. This famous yeast spread is actually now owned by an overseas company. This is the sort of thing that Dick Smith is worried about, jobs and money going out of the country.

Another famous Australian product is Red Heads matches. These are also now owned by an overseas company. Dick's answer to this was to release his own brand of matches that were made in Australia, and would STAY in Australia.

I am not messing around with you guys, these are genuine matches.

"you have a social side of John dick Sep" - That confused me, can you say it again?

And I dont have to show any sympathy, especially not when people ask for it.

BTW what gives you a right to tell me what to feel?

as explained by Syrion in the initial post, this thread is for small things that are not actually worthy of a whole thread to themselves, but which you still wish to share, such as my groovy box of matches!!

I still can't believe a box of "Dickheads" are not censored, I mean a whole lot less has been censored before.

On another note - For those in Australia, England and other cricketing nations a local Cricketing league in Victoria has banned hitting sixes in cricket because of fear it may hit someone and subject them to legal liability.
Its a sad day in the world if such measures are needed to save law suits.

If they hit a six, it doesnt count, i am not sure if they are out, but its sad in this day and age, some people are real cry babies. It all began because some people were walking past and almost got it.

They did even get hit, how often do sixes happen in cricket, very rarely. Luckily its not my league.
