I listen to the audio version on my podcast player to be fair. Just treat it like I do music. :)

I watched the first couple episode of the new series and while I enjoyed my time with it and am interested in continuing, I don't have the time and dedication it demands.

Out of interest does any one follow the Critical Role D&D podcast?

Over the last few weeks I've binged listened a good few 100 hours or so and it appears to have broken my warships addiction..... well at least temporarily at least.  ;)
I think I might have an addictive personality!

I'm up to date with the second campaign and I'm loving the character development. What make it though are the voice actors though. I don't think it would work with a bunch of normal people playing a normal campaign.

I've just got to the point in the first campaign with the next plot bombshell.

Spoiler: show
HOLY SHEEET  :o :o :o

Vecna! Are they really going to be going up Vecna himself?!?
THE Vecna?! The Demi-God Arch Lych?

Whose legends are on par with the infamous multi-headed chromatic dragon-  Tiamat.

OMG! That's going to be an epic showdown  B) ............

The Endless was an indie horror film that lured me in with an interesting trailer and then delivered an interesting film. I definitely enjoyed it. It is a Lovecraftian affair featuring cults and ancient weird things, so if you are into that, then go for it. The movie is out on digital here in the US and is pretty cheap. I know it will be released in the UK soon and I have no idea when it is getting a physical release in any region.

Annihilation was great. It is a fairly awful adaptation of the books, which are great, but it does its own thing and I won't begrudge it for that. Still, I would love to see a closer adaptation to the book... if only because it did away with some of the things that I loved most about the book and the main character.

Incredibles 2 was somewhere below OK. It definitely wasn't as good as the first, but it had moments of greatness. There were a lot of dull moments though and the movie was hella predictable. Plus there was one character that looked exactly like the reporter from Megamind and that bothered the heck out of me.

I have been listening to a lot of The Flying So High-Os, which is one of the Aussie bands that Alrin introduced me to some time ago. I've found that I have a soft spot in my heart for his local bands, which is kind of weird since I don't even know the local acts around here.

I bought a cheap laptop. It was supposed to be for writing and for helping with running tabletop games like D&D and Call of Cthulhu, but I haven't done much of either since buying the thing.

Speaking of, I bought the Call of Cthulhu RPG books and have coerced my friends to take a break from D&D to play a couple scenarios. They have not gone great, mostly thanks to poor writing/arrangement within the scenarios, but we have had fun with it.

I've also been getting into comics a smidge lately and picked up a the first books of Sunstone and I Hate Fairyland, as well as the first volume of Monstress and a bunch of Paper Girls singles. I've been sort of collecting Saga volumes, too, but I still don't know how I feel about that series.

I watched most of the first season and enjoyed what I saw, but then I let my HBO subscription lapse. Spoilers gave away the game and since then I haven't had any real inclination to return to it.

What happened to your Raspberry Pi, Aur? They are pretty simple machines, so a fix might be easy.

Anywho, I picked up the Destiny 2 season pass when it was on sale the other day, so I am back to playing that a bit. My problem with the game is the progression, which is very slow if you don't raid. I'm trying to get to max out my equipment, but I have only a handful of activities per week that allow me to inch toward that goal. It is almost pointless to play after finishing them.

I also started playing World of Warcraft again. I have a couple of WoW addict friends who were looking to get back to it and they managed to talk me into it.

Played my way through GTA5 in the meantime. Ended up really enjoying it, even though i had to force myself to get started again..

Try the online, its really fun

I think i will.

In the meatime i'm playing a lot of Skyline XL on PS4. Really enjoying that one, even though it isn't really suited for a console.
