Went to see Red Sparrow yesterday. If you're into naked Jennifer Lawrence, you'll love this film.

Was not that great.

I thought the Dark Tower was o-k. But nowhere near as good as the books. Popcorn entertainment basically.

Last movie I saw was Black Panther. T'Chaka is one of my favourite superheroes, so I was looking forward to this movie. The soundtrack was boppy, the blend between African culture and science fiction was awesome. Also, T'Chaka and friends did not disappoint. I was impressed by Andy Serkis, who aged quite a bit since his Gollum days, but showed he is a damn good actor, not just for motion-capture. Martin Freeman's was so-so. Lupita Nyong'o and Letitia Wright did much better! <3

The movie is unfortunately heavy on afro-american racism and segregation problems. So the movie is reduced to the colour of skin and how problematic that is in the United States, while the movie had all the ingredients to be so much more. Only because the US has a problem and Hollywood has to make statements. Sigh.

Oh well, at least this was the last movie before the upcoming finale.

Bring on the Infinity War! :D

Decided to force my girlfriend to watch Deadpool so we could both see Deadpool 2. She has some weird Ryan Reynolds fetish.

Trying to find a series that both me and my girlfriend can enjoy. Is harder than it seems.

We started watching Peaky Blinders yesterday. This could be the one.

Prince of the blood was great, seeing Kesh from both the noble and common view was amazing. I would have loved a book about Ghuda just traveling around Kesh.

I made it maybe half of the way through Jessica Jones season two and just gave up. I enjoyed the first season for the most part--I had a few issues with it, but I enjoyed it and thought it was one of the better Marvel Netflix series. This season? The writers decided to take one of the characters, a character who I had issue at all with in the first season, and turn them into exactly the sore of character that gets on my nerves.

Anyone else showing as not logged in when you try post in the REF forum?

And i'm watching stranger things season 2!

@Ghuda, this issue should be fixed. See this reply by Syrion.

Recently I watched Brooklyn-99. Great comedy show. :) Although I feel that the earlier seasons were a bit stronger than the current one I am watching (4th season).

I find the concept of creation and all who reside in it as experiments of an entity that is trying to become self-aware extremely fascinating. In Rage of a Demon King this is explored. What is your views regarding this?
First of all, welcome to the forum.
Second, I thought it was an original idea that made REF's series stand out a bit more.
