Weird topic choice, I know. :P I've been wondering, have any other Fantasy authors commented upon Ray's work? I'm sure at least a few have, but are they all fans and what did they say? I know anytime Ray is asked about what other Fantasy authors he likes he replies by saying something like he doesn't read much Fantasy, etc.

Not alot printed in the Feist books themselves.  Mostly newspaper book reviews.

Andre Norton (SF isn't this author?)

Magician:  Most exciting.  A very worthy and absorbing addition to the fantasy field.

Silverthorn.  As exciting and absorbing as Magician in every way.  The excellent characterization wedded to a tight and well-turned plot makes it one of the outstanding fantasy offerings of the season.

Robert Gellis (Never heard of him but he is the author of Masques of Gold and Fires of Winter.

I enjoyed [Mistress of the Empire] enormously.... I particularly enjoyed Mara's adventures outside the Empire.
