I would try and persuade Pug to get the tsurani magaicians to help fight the battle with the pantathians in the serpant-war saga.
Or just tell Pug not to attack the emerald queens ship, so pug can use the extra weeks to good use.

Spoiler: show
I would've had the arrow that wounded Fannon during the siege of Crydee be fatal. I would've liked to have seen the repurcussions of such an event. We know that Arutha proved to be more than worthy to meet the challenge of defending the keep, but he was also rather bitter at Fannon having control of the garrison before the event. I would've liked to have seen how Fannon's death and the conflicting emotions Arutha likely would've experienced, coupled with assuming responsibility of the garrison, would've played out.

how's about the original Murmandamus overrunning the kingdom earlier. how would the Tsurani fare then as the kingdom would have no standing army because they would have to be slaves.

I like the idea.

Spoiler: show
Hm, there are probably a lot of things I'd want to change (the standing of moredhel in the kingdom, for example), but the first thing that sprang to my mind was the climax scene of K: The Betrayal. I'd rush in and stop Delekhan and his followers before they could get to the Lifestone. Then Gorath wouldn't have to die. Poor Gorath. After all the trouble he went through, he deserves at least a quiet 'pension' at Elvandar, if you can call it that. *sob*

Oh, yes. Another scene I was really upset about when I read it. During the attack on Krondor, I would somehow get James and Gamina (and Lysle) out of the city BEFORE it exploded. To think... They were ALMOST out... *le sigh*

1. Smuggle a group of moredhel through the rift and hide them there until their numbers have grown

2. Actually I would assassinate Murmandamus and his priesty, right after armengar. That way nobody would go to Sethanon.

Both things to see how interesting things would become.

Huh?    Since when did I hate you, or the Gorath from the book in that matter?

I really must work on myself if I keep giving people the impression I hate my favourite characters.

Spoiler: show

I'd give anything just to be a PART of that epic scene where Mara is in the hall and the cho-ja mages are holding it against the wrath of the assembly. I wouldn't change it, just watch.

Mistress Of The Empire Spoiler

Oh and I'd travel into the beginning of King Of Foxes and make the story better! That book was a real let down...

One has to wonder... If the Gods had been defeated by the Dragon Lords, would there even be a Midkemia and Kelewan? Or at least as we know them?

I would have persuaded Kasper to not set up Tal (if I could but I suppose he was brainwashed by Leso Varen) and if I was successful make Tal become Kasper right hand man, the BAM Tal strikes and avenges the Orosini
