Character's Theme Songs

If you had to choose a theme song for some of REF's characters what would the songs be?  I cant think of any at the moment, but im on the case.  Post away.  Oh and it would be good if you could post the lyrics as well as the song title.

My Girlfriend suggested that Tal's Theme song could be "I'm too Sexy for my Shirt"
or his case "Tunic".
I dont need to write the lyrics cause im sure everyone knows them, but i dont really know! But yeah!

For some reason, I imagined Pug (especially in his Milamber form) having the theme music for Darth Vader from Star Wars. I know he's not supposed to be evil or all that intimadating but... hmm, maybe it's just cause it would make me crack up  OR OWYN!! Him having that theme music would have me el oh el'ing.

It's funny...I think of Pug having the Captain Planet themesong.  Obvious reasons.

/temper tantrum in the arena, anyone?

Just a first thought, but while thinking of Tal, I had to think of:

When the Going gets though, the though get going

(sorry about the spelling)

I alway imagine Macros the black walking in a room while tempus vernum by Enya 's being played...

Ergo, oceanus, maritimus
Ergo, opacare, matutinus
Ergo, septentrio, meridies
Ergo, occidens et orientis

Ergo, oceanus, maritimus
Opacare, matutinus
Septentrio, meridies
Occidens et orientis

Ergo, terra, stella, hiems et aestas,
Ergo, autumnus et tempus vernum,
Ergo, radius solis et umbra, ignis, aqua
Caelum, luna, terra, stella,
Hierns et aestas, autumnus et tempus vernum...

Tempus vernum.

Vertaling:
Spring Time

Therefore, ocean, sea
Therefore, dusk, dawn
Therefore, north, south
Therefore, west and east

Therefore, ocean, sea
Dusk, dawn
North, South
West and East

Therefore, earth, star
Winter and summer
Therefore, autumn and spring time
Therefore, ray of the sun and shade, fire, water
Sky, moon, earth, sta,
Winter and summer,
Autumn and spring time...

Spring time.

Listen to it, you'll know why (especially when you know the translated words, they SO don't fit the song )

Alright, I've though of a few, and I've also got several song ideas for which I don't yet have characters in mind.  Perhaps others will find inspiration

A few possibilites for Roo Avery
This is the Life (Weird Al from the Johnny Dangerously Soundtrack)
Puttin on the Ritz by Taco
but my favorits is Opportunities by the Pet Shop Boys

Calis' Crimson Eagles - Who Let the Dogs Out?

Nakor - What if God was One of Us by Joan Osborne
or, Don't Worry, Be Happy by Bobbie McFerrin

Now, here are some theme songs in search of a character:
Queen:
Princes of the Universe (Highlander)
We are the Champions
Who wants to live forever?

Weird Al Yankovic:
Dare to be Stupid

From the Shrek sountrack:
Bad Reputation
All Star

Random Stuff:
Ride of the Valkeries
O Fortuna (you probably know if from Excalibur)

Everybody Wants to Rule the World - Tears for Fears

I know it was only for a joke, but when you think about it. Mara was like the only female, apart from Nacoya in parts. She had many great male leaders and people around her to help her make decisions. So infact it wasn't just a female thing, she did have some thing but alot were mainly from her advisors like Lujan, Keyoke, Jican, Keven and Arakasi. So she wasn't "doing it for herself".

Most of these songs don't **entirely** fit the character, or really it's only a part of the song that reminds me, but...

Wake Me Up When September Ends ~~ Green Day for Tomas as he was later-- partially Valheru and living in Elvandar. "Twenty years has gone so fast... wake me up, when September ends..." Also, it starts sorta gentle and builds to rather heavy rock-- Dragon Lord in the heart of Elvendom.

She's a Rebel ~~ Green Day for Mara. "She's a rebel, she's a saint, she's the salt of the earth and she's dangerous. She's a rebel, and she's dangerous... she's a symbol of resistance, and she's holding on to my heart like a hand grenade... Is she trouble like I'm trouble? She sings the revolution, the dawning of our lives. She brings this liberation, that I just can't define; well, nothing comes to mind..."

Will You ~~ Helen Trevillion for (*gets frustrated*) The Queen of the Elves, I soooo cannot remember her name right now... gah. Very... elven voice, sweet and pure and so on and so forth. Especially when she was going through her "Omg I love Tomas but he doesn't have a clue and can't possibly have a clue..." stage. Even if that was just my interpretation. "If I'm lost, will you clear the mists, until I'm found? And take me home again... If I cry, will you dry my tears? Show me everything's all right..."

Inside ~~ Helen Trevillion, for most of the sad parts involved with the elves. Real specific, that... "Do you cry for the rain, to wash away your tears?"

The Innocent ~~ Goldfinger, Mest, and Good Charlotte, for Kevin at his most "Why must there be war"-ish-ness. "The start of armageddon and it's just another day, we all saw the news, nothing to say. So many friends are missing, and family members gone, so we all pray that god help them be strong. And now we stand together remembering that day. The lives we live will never be the same. We dunno why the innocent die. Will this world ever find a way to change? We dunno why, but we know it's not right, will this world ever find a way to change?"

You Don't Know Where Your Interests Lie ~~ Simon and Garfunkel, for Kevin in his intial dealings with Mara. "You don't know that you love me. You don't know but I know that you do, you may think you're above me, yeah. What you think isn't always true."

Cloudy~~ Smon and Garfunkel, for Nakor. "I left my shadow waiting down the road for me awhile. Cloudy, my thoughts are scattered and they're cloudy; they have no borders, no boundaries. They echo and they swell, from Tolstoy to Tinkerbell.. got some pictures in my pocket and a lot of time to kill..."

Somewhere They Can't Find Me ~~ S&G, for Erik and Roo on the run. "But I've got to creep out the alleyway, fly down the highway! Before they come to catch me, I'll be gone! Somewhere they can't find me..."

Incomplete ~~ Bad Religion for Calis and Tomas. (by now, I'm sure you're all aware that I have verrrryyyy strange tastes in music. Or very varied, at least... I'll shake it up some more... *grin*) "Father, father! Look at your little monster! I'm a hero! I'm a zero!"

Man With A Mission ~~ Bad Religion, Calis in general. "Look to me, I'll save your soul.... Follow me, when you give up. Work for me, it'll serve you well. Everyone is a hypocrite, come to me-- I'll save your soul. I'm a man with a mission, I'm gonna find you a way."

Them and Us ~~ Bad Religion, the Kingdom during the Riftwar. "Them and us! There really is a difference between them and us!.. and I heard him say, 'we can take them on', that's what he said, 'we can take them on!'" (though I think I might have the lyrics reversed here, but that's what it sounds like. It **might** be "There really is no difference between them an us")

ummmm... okay. Done now.

Thought of one more. Obvious, really

St. Jimmy ~~ Green Day, for Jimmy the Hand... *lol* It's really uppity and snotty and thoroughly rock. "My name is saint jimmy, i'm the son of a gun, I'm the one from the way outside! Oooh, saint jimmy... I really hate to say it, but I told you so, so shut your mouth before I shoot you down ol' boy... It's comedy, and tragedy. it's saint jimmy, and that's my name! And don't wear it out!"

Always a Woman- Billy Joel for like Roland & Carline, or a relationship like theres.

All About Soul- Billy Joel for Pug and Katala. It has alot of religious things in it, but i believe it is like how Pug and Katala are towards one another.
