If you could spend a vacation in any of the Feist locations where would you go.?

Would you be fishing off Crydee?
Taking dinner in Rillanon?
Eating needra in the Acoma estates?
Quietly meditating on the Tundra?
Playing pokir in a tavern in Kesh?

If you could bring one modern day appliance with you, what would it be?

Great thread, Claire!

Hmm..ohh..there's loads of places I'd like to visit. Like, on Roldem. That sounds like a snazzy kind of place. It sounds expensive though, and I'd probably get annoyed with my quickly fading gold. Anyway, a holiday?  Shamata sounds a nice place. I'd say somewhere in Kesh or in the Confederacy, but my skin would burn something awful. *winces*

One of the many unexplored quiet tropical islands listed on the atlas, but not yet mentioned in the books. I'd bring a hammock and working fridge for cool drinks.

I think I would go to the minwabi estate when mara owned it.

I would spend my days in quiet contemplation, or chatting with herself and evenings I would eat outside watching the water.

I really was  in a dilemna between bringing lipgloss or my laptop.
The laptop won, ever soldier needs to make sacrafices for Espada!

I' definitely go to the Acoma estates, just to talk to Mara. I'd wanna' take something I could trick them into thinking I was a Great One with too. Like a torch or something.... Or maybe a miror 'cause they'd freak out at how well they could see themselves.

No matter where I went I'd probably take medecine with me since it's very likley that you would die before you could explore if you lack modern medecine, we forget who many deaseses we've killed with vaccines and so on, and I wouldn't be reccilient to those.

meh... just bring a laptop.. the flashy lights and sound should freak them out enough. And a combat shotgun or tazer should keep the doubts to a minimum.

That will go swell with the dry environment. No need for Greece when you're on Kelewan. Although I don't really get why'd you want to torch down your own Holiday Resort.  I guess everyone spends his/her vacation in their own way.

Great Star Lake - with a camera.
I'd just love to see the sights, especially bordering the desert region to the south. (Plus a bit of gambling around Shamata) ;P
