Riftwar Legacy Series
« on: October 02, 2008, 08:09:41 PM »

I just finished 'Krondor: The Assassins" last night and I have to say I loved it. I thought it was really good. I'm really enjoying the series so far ("Krondor: The Betrayal" being the first). I particularly enjoy getting some more exposure to the "early" history of the characters Arutha and James (compared to Serpentwar or the other later books for example). Good stuff.

We have a fair few Riftwar Legacy threads. You can access them through the FAQ.

I'll leave this up for now, though. We should be having a forum threads clean-up soon...(it would be right now, if it was entirely my decision).

And it's been a while since we had Riftwar discussion. Personally, I didn't love the Legacy books, myself. :P

Just finished "Tear of the Gods". I'm surprised by what I perceive as alot of dislike for this series. I really liked it very much personally. A little heavy handed at times, but that's par for the course with Feist IMO. I liked the characters of Jahzara (? don't have the book in front of me) and Bear.

Yeah, as far as I can mind, Jahzarra doesn't appear again, which is a shame. I rather liked her myself. The use of female's in Ray's books is pretty damn low, too, so it would of been interesting having a side-option for Miranda.
