All great Memorable moments listed so far...but for me it was most Definately from Silverthorn...

Spoiler: show

When the assassin is trying to kill Arutha at his wedding but hits the Princess instead....Jimmy crying afterwards realizing what he had done...

Unfortunately, the Author's Preferred Edition Cover Artwork of Silverthorn really ruins the suprise of the scene though (though the artwork was top notch...I'm not criticizing that).  I had read the book before preferred edition...and I remember myself thinking "oh no..." when the scene panned to Arutha holding his wife.

Unfortunately, the Author's Preferred Edition Cover Artwork of Silverthorn...
There's an APE of Silverthorn now?

Anyway, there's so many scenes that spring to mind. But I think I'll go with...

The initial description of Jimmy and Dash.
The mischief in the palace at Rillanon. The seasoning at Crydee. Avoiding Guild punishment. Winning bordellos.

Much fun.

No there is not an APE of Silverthorn. He probably means the Don Maitz cover of Silverthorn with Arutha holding Anita.

I do remember many parts of the books I read, and treasure them as parts of a good story. However, I cannot say that Feist's work has had an influence on my life. Ofcourse, it let me here, but that was more darkons doing.

I know that Terry Pratchett has really helped me improve my english, and as I read it just before I went to study in english, it was very helpfull. When I read feist, it was just another fantasy book. Good books always linger in the back of the mind however.

(Surprised I haven't seen this thread before. :elf_gloop: )

Hmm...a lot of memories. You could go through each book and pick out at least one. Fortunately for you guys, I'll not do so. There's been a lot of good ones mentioned so far, particularly the scene in Silverthorn, with Jimmy. I'll try and keep them out of mind (hard) while I do this...and use general spoilers:
Spoiler: show

Magician:  The mad King arriving with reinforcements from the East, proclaiming Lyam his heir and taking to the field of battle against the Tsurani. He dies, but his rare moment of sanity saves the Kingdom from certain cival war and/or the death of the Kingdom by the invading alien forces.

Silverthorn: Arutha and co. fleeing down the moutains away from the Moredhel, their mission complete. The heroes return home and Anita is cured. Hurrah!

A Darkness at Sethanon: Tomas arriving on his dragon, Ryath, along with Pug at Sethanon. The battle between the Kingdom and the Moredhel has already kicked off, with Murmandamus inside searching for the Lifestone.

And that's just from the Riftwar saga. I could go on.... :elf_dead: Might do the rest of the books later, if i'm bored enough...
