Yeah I was a bit afraid of that, I prefer Creed. It sounds nicer to me.

I always pronounced it 'Invasion Bait', though I do pronounce it "Attack Here" on occasion, but that's just me.

Re: The Prononciation of Crydee and Favourite Character
« Reply #11 on: October 13, 2008, 02:06:23 AM »

Hey everyone. First timer in here.. I am so totally in love with REF's books. And, for the record, I often cried through many of his books! (But I'm a girl, I cry easier)

First of all, I always pronounced it "Cry-dee".

Second, I'm not sure I could pick a favourite character. The way they are all written, you can relate to most of them. In a way, they are all awesome and funny and doing what they feel they need to.

I often think the Daughter/Servent/Mistress series is my favourite - but then I read Magician and start reading them all over again. I'm going to just say I don't have a favourite - I love them all!

Have i been gone so long that we are now reduced to discussing pronunciation? I'm inclined to agree with James.

Creed? really? really? Do we just call stuff whatever we like now? In that case I'm gonna call Rillanon, "relish", krondor "kranski", Bas Tyra, "Bas Tardo" and Kulgan, "Kewell-gun".
