anyone know why there is such a large gap between the two and does anyone in the states order UK books on a regular basis?

I have no idea why the UK gets Ray's books 1st, it's probably a publishing thing.
I know someone with more of a clue can help.
As far as ordering from the UK I do it all the time and have never had an issue.

This topic goes over most of the reasons why some books are released earlier than others. The reason in the end is publisher choice, like Sgt said use Amazon of you can't wait for the releases, just make sure you use the Hall of Worlds shopping links to help pay for our hosting costs.
